Symboku ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our puzzle game application and website.

We comply with the UK Data Protection Act 2018, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

2.3 Payment Information

We do not store payment card details. Payments are processed securely through Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe. We only receive transaction confirmation and subscription status.

  • Crash reports (anonymised)
  • Usage analytics (if consented)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our game services
  • To sync your progress across devices (Premium users)

4. Children's Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

We take special care to protect children under 13:

  • Verifiable parental consent is required before collecting personal information
  • Children never see personalised advertisements
  • Social features are restricted for child accounts
  • Parents can review, delete, or refuse further collection of their child's data
  • We do not condition participation on disclosure of more information than necessary

6. Advertising

Free tier users see advertisements. We use Google AdMob to serve ads.

  • Adults may opt into personalised advertising
  • Children (under 13) only see contextual, non-personalised ads
  • Premium subscribers do not see any advertisements
  • You can change your ad preferences in Settings → Privacy

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

  • Personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Anonymised analytics may be retained for service improvement
  • Financial records are retained for 7 years (legal requirement)
