Symboku

About Symboku

Sudoku with a twist — think in symbols, not numbers.

Our Story

Symboku was born from a simple idea: what if Sudoku puzzles could teach you something new every time you played? Instead of the usual numbers 1 to 9, what if the puzzle grid was filled with world flags, Japanese hiragana characters, musical notes, or times tables?

That question sparked the creation of Symboku — a puzzle game where traditional numbers are replaced with thematic symbol sets, transforming every puzzle into a learning opportunity. Whether you're a child learning multiplication, a student studying the periodic table, or an adult exploring world flags, Symboku makes the process genuinely enjoyable.

We believe that the best learning happens when you don't realise you're learning. By embedding educational content into the familiar, satisfying framework of Sudoku, Symboku creates moments of discovery that stick.
